Small Bathroom Remodeling – A Space Saving Shower

Fitting a shower cubicle into a small bathroom

Possibly the neatest and most convenient way of adding a shower to your bathroom is to add a self-contained shower unit within an enclosure. The problem with this is that most bathrooms are built with only a bathtub, toilet and washbasin and were not designed with the addition of a shower in mind.

The Importance Of Texture Stimulation

One of the things that you may notice about toys for very small people, such as babies and toddlers, is that they all seem to include a variety of different materials and textures. They are likely to also include a range of bright colours, and also to make a variety of sounds. It is clearly important that small children are stimulated as much as possible, and it seems that a full on assault on their senses is the best way to do this!

Construction Industry Tradesmen – Need to Retire Earlier

The government seem determined to make construction industry tradesmen work until they drop or better still, until we end up in a wooden box. People in the UK on average work a lot more hours than our European counterparts in general, but this Conservative/Liberal Government want us to work even harder. Construction industry tradesmen need to retire early.

Small Bathroom Shower Design Options

How to fit a small bathroom shower

While I love my bathtub for the rare occasions that I get to use it for a long relaxing soak, I don't know what I would do without my shower. Showers are quick, refreshing and a lot more economical than taking baths. When I had the chance to redesign my small bathroom I jumped at the opportunity to improve the shower that was installed above the bathtub at the time.

Stages in Potty Training Toddlers

When it comes to potty training toddlers, close observation of your child's elimination patterns is necessary for all parents and child caretakers. Children, nearing three years of age, are usually ready to begin this process. Sometime after two years old, some children begin to develop a new pattern of going to a certain part of the house when they are about to defecate - and it's not always the bathroom! This behavior exhibits a toddler's ability to recognize what their body is preparing to do, as well as control the action.

Homemade Toys

How often have you seen this happen around the holidays? The parents have spent a small fortune on the latest, greatest toy. After a few grins and giggles, the parents take the toy out of its huge box and proceed to put it together. In the meantime, the child finds the box to be quite fascinating. By the time the toy is fully put together, the child is so engrossed in the box that he or she has no desire to play with the expensive toy.

How to Support Child Development

There are many ways to support a child's development, and one of which is creating challenges that are both difficult enough to be learned from, and achievable so a sense of competence is developed. This is called creating a 'just right challenge'. Grading is used for children who have difficulty participating in an activity. Grading an activity means that the task has been adapted to meet the childs abilities. This might mean that the task is broken down into its components, and the child is assigned to focus on one dimension/aspect of the activity.

Sylvanian Families Kids Toys

Sylvanian Family Toys are the most popular toys among children. The reasons are many:

1- The Sylvania Families concept is unique and sweet, the like which touches the innocent thoughts of children.

2- Sylvan" means "from the forest". The anthropomorphic transformations of the animals with human characteristics like speech, movement and adaptation is readily accepted by children because they are very much like human beings.

3- The Sylvanian Families household includes all the items that we use in our daily life, including beds, sofa sets, kitchens, toilets and cars etc. Hence the children are familiar to such concepts which make them easy to adapt and imagine while playing with the Sylvanian Families toys.
